If you’re looking for a luxury boutique hotel suite, steps from Fort Lauderdale Beach, the AAA Four Diamond-rated Atlantic Hotel & Spa could be your destination. Our spacious suite, decked out in masculine browns, featured classic marble bathrooms with his and hers sinks – always a good idea. Leave your patio doors open and wake up to the sounds of ocean waves on the beach.
Our fully-equipped kitchen had pots, pans, stemware, dishes, a built-in glass-top stove, sink, fridge, dishwasher and a Lavazza coffee maker for perfect espressos . The balcony with an ocean view is the perfect sunny spot for breakfast coffees.
The Atlantic Hotel’s 5th floor ocean front terrace is the go to spot for amenities: The SKY Bar, a sizable heated outdoor lap pool, a 24-hour gym with ocean views and the Spa, are all conveniently located here.
The signature spa treatment, the Atlantic Swedish Massage, uses long, light strokes to relax the body. Moroccan oil is massaged into the scalp, to relieve dryness, while leaving the hair healthy and shiny.
Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are all provided for guests in the lobby. Beach cruiser bicycles are free of charge for as long as you like, from early morning until sunset.
Wild Thyme at the Atlantic Hotel
Oceanfront views of Fort Lauderdale Beach and a creative chef-driven menu make Wild Thyme a popular restaurant.
The delicious charred octopus on a bed of gigante beans is a tasty appetizer. We enjoyed the delicious warm beet stuffed with 3 cheeses sitting on a bed of pine nuts and arugula pesto followed by a whole roasted head of cauliflower. For our entree, we had the scallops, placed on a puree of homemade cream corn.
The key lime tart with the Oreo cookie crust and coconut gelato makes a great finish.
